Mayumi Ann Ramirez “Mayi.” In tagalog her name means; gentle, refined, kind, soft, and low.
My first god-daughter in NYC. Originally I planned to be in the hospital to see her firsthand and also to give my support to my discipler. But due to some extent circumstances I wasn’t able to go. So as soon as she went home with her mom, I took an opportunity to do a mini photoshoot of her angelic face.
Plus, I’ve always wanted to have a photoset of babies.
AND Im loving it. :)

“Kuya” aka the Eldest Brother in Tagalog. “The eldest child is the leader, often he has strong decisive qualities that allow him to make firm decisions. This may be due to the expectations and special attention given to him by his parents.” I agree. Society portrays them the most expected to follow their parents footsteps, the eldest always gets the attention, and stereotyped to be the RULER or DISCIPLINARIAN.
My Ate is one of them. She’s about 7 years older than I am and she’s kind of a controler but in a good way. I respect her because she earns it. She took care of us, buy us things, and sometimes spoil me when our mom isn’t available. But not everytime she’s like that. It will come to a point that she’ll just flipped out. However, there will be always sibling rivalry. But I love my Ate. VERY MUCH.
I look up with my Ate eventhough she’s two inch shorter than I am. :P

The Middle Child. They say that the middle child always the one who gets left out and most of the time the kindest one. According to an article that I have read that, “The middle child, unlike the others, is not given much attention. The following are just some characteristics that define middle children. Note that not all of them or maybe even none may be observed in middle children.”
I’m one of the middle children who used to seek attention from their parents. But as I’ve grown mature I learn how to be independent. So I say that this article is kind of accurate. But as a middle child were capable of pursuing our dreams no matter what. We see both sides and sometimes much higher jealously than other siblings.
Though, we are career driven or I guess I am. Haha. Anyways, Middle Children, ROCKS!

In Genesis 12:1-3, God asked Abraham (then Abram) to get out of his comfort zone, leave his father’s house and go to Canaan where God vowed to make him and his descendants a great nation. One man, barren but faithful, was given a mighty promise. This was Abraham’s moon. He did not define it himself; the Almighty God gave it to Him.

And atlast, on our way back to New York. Was gazing out in the sky thinking deeply of some recent events, I paused and saw this wonderful Shekinah Glory. Shekinah Glory means for us Christians’ “The Glory of God,” but someone told me that for him it means “God never leaves me!.” So I prayed to God to give me the courage that I need and will need cause Im feeling so weak right now. Still, I have faith and this photo reassured me that my God will never leave me! <3

The Fountain; Me and my friend got tired from walking around the National Mall (its actually the name of the Washington DC’s park) so we decided to stop, sit, and talk for awhile. Its a nice fountain, good stop to kill time.. :)

The infamous Washington Monument aka “The Pencil Tower.” We didn’t even get a chance to really go near this tower cause it too far away from where we were. Yet, DC trip won’t be DC if you wouldn’t take this shot! :)

I see what he sees. Sometimes I do wonder how it feels to be into someone’s shoes. There were few times that I really wanted to see what others see. Why? I don’t know. Haha. But reality, we really can’t (literally) and we don’t really have to see what others see.. What I think if we could see what others see then there won’t be any challenges in building up our character because tendency is to control things and please others. Will you want that? lol Anyways, getting this shot made me really proud of myself and course my Pentax K10D. I really want to really know how to play with this camera (and I need lenses).. Honestly, I just really love, love, love this shot! :)

Seagulls. I love motion photographs; especially if its flying birds. I think that getting this kind of shots (though this shot is not one of a kind) makes me feel ‘wow’ for some reason. Hehe. I love flying seagulls. This actually reminds me of the book that I read when I was in Elementary, the Jonathan Livingston Seagull. And one of my favorite lines, “We can lift ourselves out of ignorance, we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence and skill. We can be free! We can learn to fly!” Such a good book! I want to read it again! :)
